What are the benefits of compression tights?

Compression tights offer a range of health benefits, including:

  - improved blood circulation

  - reduced fatigue

  - decreased swelling

Compression garments, such as compression tights, gently compress the blood vessels near the surface of your legs, an action that helps the blood travel back to your heart. Not only does this improved circulation benefit your heart, but it also increases muscle oxygenation, or the amount of oxygen available to your muscles. This then gives your muscles more energy to use, reducing fatigue.

By improving circulation and applying pressure, compression tights also reduce inflammation by preventing fluid from building up. Combining this reduction in inflammation with less muscle fatigue means that your shift in the sky will come with much less pain.

When should you use compression tights?

Compression tights can benefit anyone interested in reducing pain and inflammation by improving blood circulation. Those who benefit the most, though, are individuals who sit for extended periods of time or are on their feet all day.

Sitting makes it harder for blood to travel through the body, but compression tights—and their ability to improve blood circulation—can help.

Those who work on their feet should also use compression tights, as they can help reduce the fatigue and inflammation you get in your ankles and legs from standing all day.

Furthermore, those on an airplane can benefit from compression tights. This is because the reduced air pressure on the plane causes you to bring in less oxygen when you breathe, slowing your blood circulation. Compression tights help combat this effect by aiding blood circulation.

How do graduated compression tights differ from regular compression tights?

Graduated compression tights exert the greatest amount of compression at the ankle, with the amount of compression decreasing as the tights goes up the leg. This design encourages blood to flow up to the heart instead of down into the foot.

In comparison, regular compression tights have the same degree of compression at each section.

Are Skytights compression tights designed with graduated compression?

Yes, Skytights compression tights are graduated compression tights, which means they apply the highest compression at the ankle and gradually decrease it as they move up the leg.

Where are Skytights compression tights manufactured?

Skytights pantyhose are crafted in Castel Goffredo, a small town in Italy, situated in the province of Mantua, in Lombardy, close to Lake Garda. This tiny town is long renowned for its expertise in producing and manufacturing textiles, especially hosiery. Our Italian factories uphold the strictest codes of conduct, placing the highest standards on technology innovation, product certification and sustainability.

How do I select my perfect size?

Choosing the right or wrong size can shape your hosiery experience. A too-small size results in significant fit issues such as sagging between the legs and skin irritation—plus your tights will likely tear more quickly due to increased fabric stretching. At the same time, a size that’s too large can create problems like drooping and bunching.

Skytights offers five sizes: 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. To eliminate the guesswork when shopping for our tights, we offer a detailed yet easy-to-use Size Chart to guide you in quickly finding your perfect fit. If you discover you’re in-between sizes, we suggest you select the larger size to prevent any unnecessary stretching or pulling of your pantyhose, which could create a run.

Can I return tights after wearing them?

No. Once tights have been worn, they cannot be returned or exchanged for hygiene reasons.

Before you order, please take a moment to carefully go over our Size Guide and Shade Finder. When your SkyTights arrive, check them thoroughly before wearing them. If something looks wrong and you believe the item has a manufacturing issue, contact us right away before putting them on.

What does not count as a manufacturing issue? Damage caused by forcing them on, choosing the wrong size, pulling aggressively, sharp nails, rings, bracelets, Velcro, rough seats, abrasive surfaces, or normal wear after use.

SkyTights is premium hosiery, not magic armor. Premium tights still need premium treatment. Once they are worn, SkyTights is not responsible for damage caused by handling, fit mistakes, or everyday wear.

For damage claims, we may request clear photos. Our team may review them manually and with AI-assisted image analysis to help determine whether the issue came from production or from what happened after the tights were received.

Are SkyTights indestructible?

They are not. SkyTights are high-quality tights, not a lifetime contract.

We are very honest about this because we would rather set the right expectations than sell a fantasy. We focus on what our products are truly made for: compression, comfort, support, and a polished leg look. We do not position our tights as indestructible because we have not found a real hosiery manufacturer that can honestly guarantee that. Tights are still tights, gorgeous. They are delicate by nature, and their lifespan depends heavily on treating them with care.

The truth is simple: how long your SkyTights last depends heavily on how you treat them. Correct sizing matters. Gentle handling matters. Short nails, smooth hands, careful washing, and avoiding Velcro or rough surfaces all matter. Rotation matters too. One pair should not be expected to carry every shift, every trip, every outfit, and every single day for months.

If you want leggings, buy leggings. If you want premium tights with comfort, style, and support, and you understand that hosiery needs care, SkyTights is for you.

With the right care, your tights are made to deliver many beautiful wears. Without it, even the best pair can lose the fight.

Who are SkyTights designed for?

SkyTights are made for customers who understand that premium hosiery is a real product category, not the same thing as leggings, shapewear, or basic drugstore tights.

They are for people who want their legs to feel supported, look polished, and stay comfortable through work, travel, long days, and life on the move. They are also for customers who know that quality does not mean indestructible.

  • SkyTights is a great fit for customers who:
  • Choose the right size instead of squeezing into the wrong one and hoping for a miracle.
  • Understand that graduated compression has a specific fit and feel.
  • Appreciate Italian craftsmanship, better materials, and a more refined finish.
  • Handle tights carefully when putting them on, wearing them, and washing them.
  • Know that nails, jewelry, Velcro, rough surfaces, and careless pulling can damage hosiery.
  • Rotate between several pairs instead of expecting one pair to work overtime forever.

SkyTights is not for everyone, and that is perfectly okay.

If you understand hosiery and want tights that bring comfort, confidence, support, and serious leg energy, welcome to SkyTights.
